The English Triple Crown Winners is a three-race competition for Thoroughbredracehorses.
The English Triple Crown consists of the 2000 Guineas Stakes (at 1 mile), The Derby (at 1½ miles), and the St. Leger Stakes (at 1 mile 6 furlongs and 127 yds) although the distances have varied throughout the years.
To win the Triple Crown a 3 year old horse must win all three legs or jewels in the series. The three races are The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness Stakes, and The Belmont Stakes. In 1919 Sir Barton became the first racehorse to win all three races.

- In 1913, Craganour finished first in the Epsom Derby, but was controversially disqualified.
- In 1980, Nureyev finished first in the 2000 Guineas, but was relegated to last place following a stewards' inquiry.

Last Triple Crown Winner Horse
Winning the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Horse Racing is one of the rarest accomplishments in sports. It takes the right horse, the right jockey, and a little bit of luck to be one of the Triple Crown winners.
Only 13 times has a horse won the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. Justify won in 2018 giving trainer Bob Baffert the most recent two. When American Pharoah won in 2015 he became the first winner since 1978. That 37 year winless drought was the longest in the history of this award.
Here is the list of Triple Crown winners…
